I love steam trains and out walking in Worcestershire beside the River Severn heard a steam train on the Severn Valley Railway. It was spring, the trees had burst into life and in a small clearing, the sun shone through the tree canopy. The train approached and I quickly took this shot. It took me straight back to my childhood when steam ruled. just look at the colours of engine and coaches fitting perfectly with the colours of spring! | © Unsplash / Denis Chick

Ammersee-Dampfbahn wieder unterwegs

Auch in diesem Jahr rollen wieder Museumszüge der Ammersee-Dampfbahn von Utting und Schondorf in den Bahnpark Augsburg und zurück. An insgesamt fünf Sonntagen bietet der Dampfzug nostalgische Reiseerlebnisse – diesen Sommer mit der denkmalgeschützten Dampflok 41 018. Heute fährt sie das erste Mal. Mit der Ammersee-Dampfbahn lebt die Tradition der alten „Badezüge“ wieder auf.
